2015 Edition: If I Voted for the Oscars...

It's a big week for 2015 movies, with the Golden Globes' recent ceremony and Academy Award nominations being announced tomorrow morning at 5:30 AM PST sharp (plus, the beloved Razzies nominations came out this morning), I thought it fitting to share my own Oscar selections and get myself back into the movie-talk game.

While I'm still writing up and tweaking my Top 10 movies list (it's taking longer than expected), I certainly have some opinions about the Oscars this year—and what/who deserves to take home a statue (Leo DiCaprio, namely). Keep in mind, this list excludes a few categories that I didn't feel qualified to make contribute to this year, namely Best Foreign Language and the Shorts.

So let's get this started... my "If I Voted for the Oscars" nominations list (not to be confused with predictions, but... let's face it, lots of these will make an appearance on voters' picks tomorrow). And don't forget to share what you'd nominate if you were part of the Academy!

UPDATE: Now that the nominations have been announced, check them out and see how me and the Academy (clearly) differ!
